Spanish National Cardiovascular Research Center (CNIC), Madrid (Spain)

Postdoctoral position is available in the Nuclear Receptor Signaling group, led by *Dr. Mercedes Ricote *and part of the Department of Cardiovascular Development and Repair. The project will examine signaling pathways in stem cell biology and tissue regeneration. We are looking for enthusiastic and highly-motivated individuals with an interest in cardiovascular diseases.

Candidates must possess a PhD or MD degree (or equivalent) with experience in molecular biology, cell biology and signaling. Experience with animal models of regeneration and hematopoietic/cardiac stem cells is preferable; a strong publication record will be valued.

The Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares (CNIC) is a public research institute dedicated to excellence in cardiovascular research and to translating new knowledge into real improvements in clinical practice (www.cnic.es).

Juan de la Cierva´s call, financed by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation (http://www.micinn.es/), offers 3-year contract to early postdoctoral scientists.
