南京大学现代工程与应用科学学院2023年度准聘长聘教师岗位招聘公告
一、学院介绍
学院设有5个本科专业,2个一级学科博士点(材料科学与工程、光学工程)、1个自设交叉学科博士点(健康工程)和5个硕士点(学术型硕士:材料科学与工程、光学工程、健康工程,专业型硕士:电子信息、材料与化工),建有多个科教平台:江苏省功能材料设计原理与应用技术重点实验室、智能光传感与调控教育部重点实验室(B类)、江苏省光通信工程研究中心、激光与光子工程技术研究中心、微波光子技术研究中心、储能材料与技术中心、环境材料与再生能源研究中心、南京大学加速器中心等;此外,学院也是固体微结构物理国家重点实验室、人工微结构科学与技术协同创新中心的主要参加单位。学院在南京、苏州、上海等地还建有若干新型研发机构与成果转化平台。
2015年,学院入选国家科技部支持的“高校国际化示范学院推进计划”试点单位,充分开展国际化办学;2017年,材料科学与工程入选国家一流学科建设名单。学院拥有一支高水平的教师队伍,总体规模94人,其中长江学者特聘教授6人、国家杰出青年科学基金获得者8人、四青人才50人。学院与美国伊利诺伊大学香槟分校、加州大学尔湾分校、法国巴黎高科等建立了合作伙伴关系,主持和参与多项国际合作项目,具有较大的国际影响力。
二、招聘岗位设置
南京大学现代工程与应用科学学院拟面向全球招聘有志于从事材料科学与工程、光学工程领域各主要研究方向的优秀青年人才到学院工作。本次拟招聘准聘副教授、准聘助理教授岗位,招聘总人数不超过4人,研究方向包括:
(1)有机光电功能材料
面向有机光电材料在信息能源领域应用,重点研究光-电、电-光及热-电等能量转化的机理;发展大面积高迁移率薄膜与器件制备技术,在光电功能材料的设计与合成方法、有机半导体基础理论、有机/高分子半导体薄膜制备等方面取得突破。
(2)光场调控
面向激光、精密测量、成像、传感等领域对光场调控的重大需求,发展线性、非线性、拓扑、光力等光学设计新原理,实现对光场偏振、相位、振幅、频率、时空特性等参数的多维度精准调控。
(3)生物医用能源材料与器件
发展微型、柔软、安全的新型植入式能源器件,为新一代有源医疗设备长期稳定供能。发展普适性的集成方法,实现体内能源系统与具有健康监测、疾病诊疗、人机交互等功能的生物电子器件高度集成,满足生物医学应用要求。
(4)新型储能材料与高能电池技术
面向无碳清洁可再生能源的存储,开展高效、大容量、低成本电化学储能材料的设计与创制,开展包括锂电池、金属空气电池、全固态电池等在内的高比能量动力电池和高安全性大规模储能技术相关的新原理、新方法和新器件研究。

Tenure-track Faculty Positions in the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences (CEAS), Nanjing University, China
I. About the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences (CEAS)
Since its founding in 2009, the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences (CEAS) in Nanjing University has been pursuing to fulfill its original vision: science-based and engineering-oriented education. We seek an optimal balance between the creation and integration of knowledge through scholarly research, entrepreneurship and innovation in translating the products of our research into practice, and the dissemination of knowledge to our students on the Nanjing University campus and beyond. Since 2019, a new 65,000 m building for research and education has been put into use to house the academic departments and research centers, embodying CEAS’s global vision and forward-looking plan. CEAS is now aimed to become a world-class college with its research and education focusing on developing cutting-edge technologies and engineering solutions to tackle major societal challenges.
In 2017, materials science and engineering in CEAS was listed as the national first-class discipline. After faculty recruitment and infrastructure expansion, CEAS is poised for significant growth and a rise to a higher standard of excellence. The college won the first prize of the National Natural Science Award once and the second prize three times. It is also a nationwide exemplary college, where internationalization is being implemented in every facet (education, research, administration, faculty recruiting/assessment, and infrastructure), and involves virtually every member of the college (administrators, faculty, staff and students). The college has established several new R&D institutions and achievement transformation platforms in Nanjing, Suzhou, Shanghai and other places. It has also formed long-term partnerships with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the University of California, Irvine, and Paris Tech, etc., and has hosted/participated in a number of international cooperation projects.
At present, CEAS faculty is composed of 94 professors/associate professors. Over the recent years, near 50 junior faculty members (including 3 non-Chinese nationals) have been recruited from world-renowned universities or institutions, primarily through national talents recruiting programs.
II. Positions
CEAS is seeking applicants for tenure-track associate professors and/or tenure-track assistant professors (up to 4 vacancies in total). Higher positions for particularly outstanding scholars are available and application will be considered individually. Specific fields of research open for recruitment are:
(1) Organic Optoelectronic Functional Materials
(2) Optical field manipulation
(3) Biomedical Energy Materials and Devices
(4) New Energy Storage Materials and High Energy Battery Technology
III. Qualifications
The applicant should
(1) abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, and show enthusiasm in teaching and research;
(2) abide by academic ethics, uphold academic integrity,have no criminal record or record in breaching the ethics of teachers and/or academic integrity;
(3) have a first-rate background in academic training—specifically, a PhD in related disciplines, and knowledge of the latest international trends and development in the relevant research field(s);
(4) have outstanding teaching abilities: the applicant should be able to teach core and frontline courses in the corresponding discipline, and have sound teaching methodology and strong verbal skills;
(5) demonstrate outstanding research output and potential: the applicant should have publications in relevant research directions, original viewpoints on relevant research fields, clear ideas for future research plans, and good academic potential.

V. Compensation Package and Support
(1) Annual Salary: depending on qualifications;
(2) Start-up funding for scientific research;

(5) The university provides assistance with children’s schooling at primary and secondary school levels.
